Amicura Cura X1 has a spherical shape and a stable base on legs. The gadget works very simply: it detects when the pet has finished its business and it is time to start the cleaning process. The device sifts the soiled litter into a special compartment where a liner bag is conveniently placed.
The Cura X1 has many sensors—2 IR sensors, 2 Hall sensors, a scale, and a pinch‑protection system. The dirty litter goes into an isolated container, so the box does not smell. There is a tie-top bag there: according to Amicura engineers, the 8‑liter waste reservoir lasts up to 15 days. Importantly, you do not need to buy any special litter—almost any store-bought option will work.
An app connects to the Amicura Cura X1. From it you can control the device’s functions, monitor litter box visit sessions, and trigger a manual cleaning. Thanks to the weight sensor, if the box detects a weight change during self-cleaning, it automatically stops the cycle to protect your cat. A roll of bags is included with the device.
